Rusminah Sørensen

I am from Indonesia and I started to join AIS in August 2023.

I teach Individuals&Societies and Extra English as well as a support teacher in the MYP. Prior to that I worked as a teacher at IB schools both in Jakarta, Indonesia and Bergen, Norway. I have also worked in Bergen at Norwegian kindergartens and schools, Adult Education Centre and University of Bergen. My education background is within Language Education and Literature, Early Childhood Education and Care, Pedagogy, Humanities, Social and Political Sciences. I took master studies at Oslo Metropolitan University, Dublin Institute of Technology, University of Malta, Høgskolen på Vestlandet and University of Bergen. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and tasting diverse cuisines, reading, listening to music and travelling.
